1. Controller and scope
BO Fenster is a trading name of BO Sàrl and is not a separate legal entity. BO Sàrl is responsible for data processing connected with this website and communications addressed to BO Fenster.
This policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its ordinance. The GDPR may also apply where its territorial scope is met.
2. Website visits and hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. To provide, secure and diagnose the service, Vercel may process technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referring URL, browser, device, operating system and error information.
This data is used to operate and secure the website, prevent abuse and perform technical analysis. It is retained only as long as necessary under the provider’s settings and obligations.
3. Quote requests and contact
When you use the quote form or contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we process the information you provide. This may include your name, contact details, address, availability, project specifications and measurements, message, links to documents and communication metadata.
We use this data to respond, prepare an offer, perform a contract, follow up on a project and meet legal obligations. The form sends the information by email through Infomaniak’s mail infrastructure and sends you a confirmation.
4. Google Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads and Microsoft Clarity
The site uses Google Tag Manager to manage services such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. With your consent, these services may measure pages viewed, sessions, approximate location, device type and contact clicks to improve the site and assess campaign performance.
With your consent, Microsoft Clarity may capture usage data including interactions, clicks, scrolling and technical session characteristics. We do not intentionally send these tools your name, email address or phone number entered in the form.
Analytics and advertising storage, user data and ad personalisation are denied by default. Depending on how Google Consent Mode operates, technical cookieless signals may nevertheless be sent to Google.
6. External links and services
Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps, Facebook, LinkedIn, BO Stores and other websites take you to external services. Their operators process data under their own rules when you open them. Use is optional; you may also contact us directly by phone or email.
7. Purposes and legal bases
We process data only to provide and secure the website, answer requests, prepare and perform services, follow up with customers, improve communications, measure campaigns and meet legal obligations.
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based as appropriate on consent, pre-contractual steps or a contract, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and managing our business.
8. Recipients and international transfers
Data may be accessible to our staff and necessary service providers, including Vercel, Infomaniak, Google, Microsoft and, if you use them, WhatsApp/Meta or LinkedIn. Processing may take place in Switzerland, the EEA, the United States or other countries.
For international transfers, we rely on safeguards recognised by Swiss law, including an adequacy decision, the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, or appropriate contractual clauses.
9. Retention
We retain data for as long as needed for the relevant purpose and then delete or anonymise it. Unsuccessful enquiries are generally deleted when no longer useful. Communications, contractual and accounting records are retained for the applicable statutory periods. Providers’ own retention periods remain governed by their settings and policies.
10. Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure. Internet transmission can never be guaranteed to be entirely risk-free.
11. Your rights
Within the limits of applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or delivery of your data, object to certain processing and withdraw consent for the future. Proof of identity may be required. Send requests to info@bofenster.ch.
You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
12. Automated decisions and amendments
BO Sàrl does not make automated individual decisions with legal effects through this website.
This policy may be updated when the website, providers or law changes. The version published here is the version in force.
